The 2025 edition of BSS will take place in Rome, Italy, organized by the Istituto Nazionale di Geofisica e Vulcanologia (INGV), the International Centre for Theoretical Physics (ICTP), Boston College (BC), and the University of Warmia and Mazury (UWM).

Pre-Symposium Workshop on GNSS and Ionospheric Monitoring

BSS 2025 will be preceded by a special workshop on Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) data applications for ionospheric monitoring and modeling. The workshop will be hosted by INGV at its premises in Rome, providing an invaluable opportunity for participants—especially those from developing countries—to gain hands-on experience and engage with leading experts in the field. This dedicated training will focus on the use of GNSS data for ionospheric research, enhancing participants’ understanding of methodologies, analysis techniques, and real-world applications.
